Reiki 1 is primarily concerned with self-healing. This is an amazing gift and exactly what we are seeking (even if we did not know it)
- The gift of Reiki. You will receive 4 attunements over the day.
- Start the road to transformation in your own life. (let go of worn out patterns and anxieties)
- Learn how to treat yourself & hand positions for treating others.
- After giving yourself a healing treatment everyday for 21-30 days you may wish to begin practicing on family and friends and even animals.)
- An energetic “upgrade”. Reiki 1 often effects a physical and/or emotional transformation.
- You may notice that animals and small children perceive your energy differently (it is different) and take more notice of you!
- Become a certified Reiki 1 practitioner
What’s different about our Reiki Courses:
- Alight’s Reiki 1 & 2 are @ 2 hrs longer than other courses =
more time to learn and practice. - Practice meditation rather than simply talking about it. (Reiki was “discovered” by a Buddhist monk, and originally practiced by those who had a deep meditation practice. We cannot be “better at Reiki” because Reiki moves through us, but we can be better channels for all forms of good including Reiki, to move through us.
- Gentle Yoga warm-up and refresh during the day to keep our energy high.(optional, simply practice the breathing if you prefer, or from a chair) Yoga is a practice that brightens the energy & spirit. Again, it helps us heal ourselves and be a better channel for others.
- Further learning & practice with Alight Reiki Share Group treatments which you can attend once you have completed Reiki 1. (Reiki courses are almost like “crash courses” we learn so much, and we leave with so much to practice. The gift of the attunements are the most important element of each course, which opens are ability to use Reiki and tunes us into that energy. Further learning via group shares are fantastic for increasing confidence and sharing your experience and learning with others in a friendly environment. The group shares are great for learning to “trust” the process.
