Reiki Treatment Description.

A Reiki treatment is:

• immediately relaxing.
• completely non-invasive.

Your Reiki Treatment.

• We will discuss your intention for Reiki prior to the treatment.
• A Reiki treatment follow set, non-invasive hand positions on, or over the body.
• You will remain fully clothed throughout the treatment (You may remove your shoes).
• A Reiki Treatment takes place on a massage table with warm blankets and pillows for comfort.
• The room is comfortably lit with candles and gentle music playing.
• It is completely acceptable to fall asleep (the treatment will continue to work.) Alternatively you can talk if you wish.
• Feedback for you and a chance for you to discuss your experience

What will I experience during the Reiki treatment?

While every client’s experience of an Alight Reiki treatment is unique, common experiences and sensations include:

• A deep sense of relaxation and release once the treatment begins. 
• Heat or coolness in areas that are being treated. 
• It may seem that the practitioner’s hands remain on an area of the body even though the hands have physically moved away. 
• Clients may “see colours” in their mind’s eye. 
• Tears may come immediately or following.
• Aches, pains, nausea and discomfort can dissolve and a client may feel emotionally lighter. 
• A deep release or/and the feeling of “butterflies” in the tummy.
• Receiving Reiki is generally a spiritual experience. 

Please note it is not necessary to feel anything during a session for a treatment to be successful. The effectiveness of a Reiki energy healing treatment is best measured in the result. You may notice in the following days that a situation or condition you were deeply worried about may simply “shift” “move” or simply not be an issue anymore.

Please double your intake of water for 3 days after receiving Reiki Energy healing. It is said that Reiki will continue working to heal your body for 3 days after the treatment.
